This blog was originally going to be about moving and staging. The problem was I became so busy moving and fixing up my house, that I had no time to write.
Now that we have moved, I hope to have a bit more time to blog. I hope to talk about fixing up the new house. Some of my other interests are crafts, biking, and running. I don't excel at any of them, but they are fun nonetheless.
The day before we moved to Washington, I received a breast cancer diagnosis. I don't intend to make it the complete focus of what I write about. It will take time out of my life, but I hope to not let it derail me.
I found out that when the lumpectomy is performed, I will also receive a reduction and lift. My butt needs a lift also, but I don't think butt cheek cancer exists, so I will settle for wearing padded underwear.
It is beautiful here in Washington. I don't mind the dark days. Less squinting means less wrinkles. The rain means all the beautiful, green plants I love to see in the spring. We have ferns and apple trees and green grass! None of those are to be taken for granted. Truly, I am in paradise.
It is too early to attempt to be witty, and a second cup of coffee is clearly in order. If anybody reads this, thank you.
